January Favourites 2017

Can you believe it is almost the end of January already?! Because I certainly can't...

Hello everyone! Today I have a couple of favourite items to talk through, and truth be told that there were lots of things that I loved this month, however I have a select few I'm going to talk about.

MAC Eyeshadows

There is something addicting about filling MAC Eyeshadow palettes, and throughout January I've purchased so many in such a short period of time that it is safe to say that I am a self confessed addict. Following getting my hands on Expensive Pink, Atlantic Blue, Gorgeous Gold and Sushi Flower (aka the four shadows I purchased in 24 hours)- (you can read here), a couple of days ago I picked up Black Tied which is a colour I have been meaning to add to my cool toned palette for ages, as I think it will be a really nice colour for an intense smokey eye.

Bobbi Brown Almost Pink Lipstick

I spoke about this lipstick in my 'Top 5 Festive Nudes' post, and as I said there, I love the fact that this lipstick is a perfect ballerina pink and really effortless/easy to wear. The consistency of the lipstick is slightly thicker, and usually this is something I avoid, however I really like this lipstick to throw on if I'm in a hurry, especially as it goes with everything.

Nars Audacious Lipstick in Lana

My lovely friend Becky got me this lipstick for Christmas, and all month this has been my go to red lip. It is so easy to wear and really compliments my skin tone. I love it, and thats all I really have to say! (read more here.)

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Perfume

Similarly to Lana, I received this perfume for Christmas and I have worn it everyday since. Its fruity and floral and really long lasting, and I get so many compliments when I wear it that it makes me want to wear it more! I now consider it as one of my signature scents, and that says a lot about me as it takes a lot for me to really fall for a perfume! (read more.)

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat

I decided that this year I wanted to make more of an effort with my nails, and I think there has only been a couple of days in January where I haven't had polish on my nails, and I love it. This month I got my hands on the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat and I can confidently say that this will be my go to top coat forever. It works amazingly on my nails who are often not keen on products, and frankly I couldn't be happier. (I also got my hands on Game of Chromes from the Miracle Gel collection- you can read more here!)

Ted Baker Mihai Bag

And finally, my new handbag in my collection that is well and truly my baby. I've been wanting to get my hands on a medium sized black bag perfect for both day and night for what feels like forever. I'd had my eyes on a couple of different styles over the months, however the other day I saw this bag online at Ted Baker and fell involve with it instantly, knowing that it was the one. After a quick look around in Bluewater Shopping Centre at the weekend our paths eventually crossed and I knew that it was everything I wanted and more. Its chic, will got with anything and everything whilst it also fits my daytime essentials. (It was even more of a bonus when I remembered I'd get my 15% student discount as well- winning!)

And they are my favourites of this month! What have you been loving?

Mini Chanel Beauty Haul

Yesterday I went shopping in Bluewater for the first time. I had been aware of the fact I was going on this trip for a while to saved my money as best as I cold whilst writing a shopping list I was definitely not dreaming nor ashamed of.

On my list included numerous items of beauty, one of which being a 'red Chanel lipstick'. I say this as a girl who is known for her love of red lipstick, and well lets be honest nothing screams 'class' like Chanel does it?

I entered the Chanel counter in House of Fraser to which I picked out 'Coromandel' from the Rouge Allure range, which I personally would describe it as a true classic warm toned red. It was exactly what I wanted, and the only thing I wished it was just a little more glossy, but thats something I can look over as this shade is so classic, and exactly what I wanted.

Next up I fell in love with a 'Levres Scintillantes' Gloss in the shade Blizzard. To which I was informed that not only it was out of stock, that it was also being discontinued. Great. I had fallen in love with a beautiful gloss in a colour that I had never really seen before, to be told that it was in fact gone for good. AAARGHHHH. Long story short I was deciding between the gloss and the Number 8 Foundation Brush, (even though if they had both in reality I would have purchased the two), so after a quick run around to Boots and John Lewis to discover that they also didnt have the gloss in stock, I quickly accepted that this in fact was a day I was going to purchase a brush I had my eye on for months, and I mean months. The Number 8 Foundation Brush is a synthetic hair buffing brush perfect for high coverage liquid foundations, and I knew that I would look after this brush, and I doubt that it will ever part from my collection.

And thats my mini Chanel haul, I've linked the lipstick and brush here, so be sure to have a look at them!

La Roche Posay Serozinc

Anyone who knows me or really reads this blog knows that my skin constantly goes through good patches and bad patches. I'm the kind of person who when I know something is working for my skin I'm reluctant to change until it stops working.

Back in September when I started my dance course I knew that I was probably going to be sweating a bit more, given that I was doing some sort of dancing five out of seven days a week.

I purchased the La Roche Posay Serozinc spray for two purposes, to fix my face and to fix my back. My back had a tendency to flare up and be covered with spots (especially when it was approaching 'that time of the month') and sweat wasnt going to help it much either.

Serozinc is a spray water/toner that is simply made up of zinc sulphate solution. It is designed to cleanse and soothe the skin, and its simplicity is what makes me love it so much.

After just a couple of weeks I'd noticed that my back was (and still is) practically free from spots. Sure, I still get the odd one or two, but its nothing that this spray can't fix in a couple of days. As for my face I've come to notice that my skin really appreciated being exfoliated and zinc as an ingredient. Zinc really works in my skins favour and often helps spots either heal or disappear and simply work wonders on my skin. I don't use this every night, as I like to mix between this and my Pixi Glow Tonic, and I will generally use this when my skin needs a little more pampering, as I tend to see the effect it has had the following morning.

Have you tried Serozinc?

Sally Hansen / Game of Chromes

It takes a lot for me to rave about anything remotely nail related, and that is simply down to the fact my nails hate being pampered. Acrylics will last me a week maximum, nail polish a day if I am lucky and gels tend to start to peel off after three days, yep my nails are not the most accepting to the beauty world.

However, the other week I FINALLY got my hands on two products I have been desperate to try since November, (even though my nails can be useless I still like to give things a go!) and these were two products from Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel Range.

Game of Chromes (genius name btw) is a gorgeous chrome gold shade, stereotypically perfect for the festive season and initially when I first wanted to own it, however in true Beki luck every moment I went into my local boots it was either sold out or 'not being stocked currently'. Fuming was an understatement, I know what you're thinking it is just a nail polish, and it is, but can't a girl attempt to have pretty nails once in a while?

The other product I had been desperate to try was her top coat from the miracle gel range. Once again I had heard and read pretty amazing reviews about the product and I knew I wanted to give it a go to see if it was worth the hype, and whether it actually worked on my nails or not.

I initially applied two coats of Game of Chromes, which I found worked great on my nails and made the colour and polish even across the whole nail. I waited around five minutes (which felt like forever) before applying two coats of the top coat. I know that two coats may seem a little excessive, but I wanted my nails to feel thick and strong similarly to how they would feel if they were done professionally.

I can confidently say now that I will be adding many more colours (and back up bottles of top coat) to my ever expanding nail collection, simply down to the week I wore these colours alone. Sure, there was the tiniest bit of chipping at the front of a couple of nails along the way, but I don't mind a quick fix job every few days if it means the colour and look of my nails is great, and it really was. The lasting power of these two products combined is incredible, and the only way I can describe it is like the nail polish you are desperate to chip and simply can't. It isn't budging of your nail bed, and I meant it- it took me 20 minutes to take the colour off the other week!

Have you tried any Sally Hansen Gel Colours? What others should I try?

The Blue Eye Edit

Pictured above are some of my staple products I use when wearing a 'blue eye' look. I adore blue eyeshadow, and I really don't understand how people can't. 'It clashes with my eyes'. My eyes are blue, they change shades constantly and there are days where my eyes are almost green. Therefore my eyes stereotypically are the colour that should avoid the deeper shade (points if you got the steps reference!!), yet I don't think I will ever fall out of love with it.

Within make-up it is so easy to create different combinations and make-up looks. The first combination I tend to wear the most is probably my favourite of the bunch. I'll take my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Turquoise Forever or my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cobalt and place it all over the lid as my base. Usually I will then take MAC's eyeshadow in Steamy (probably my all time fave) and place it all over the lid. After this I'll add my trademark Soap & Glory Supercat liner and do some sort of flick. Standard. Really simple and it literally takes 5 minutes. Combined with a little bronze and a neutral/natural nude this look is unbelievably easy to wear.

The 'block liner look' is another really easy look and perfect in day-to-night and no time to drastically change makeup situations. I'll take the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme de Nude along with Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy and place the two all over my lids. Next up I'll pick my liner of choice, which will often be my Blue Vivid Liner from NYX if I'm after a pop of colour or the Navy Soap & Glory Kohl Liner if I want a more subtle look. Alongside lashings of mascara and an optional black line in the waterline, this look is really great day-to-day and ideal for beginners.

Last up is adding glitter or a 'pop' of colour into a normal eye look. Urban Decay's Heavy Metal liners are in my opinion the best to go to for beginners, regardless of what colour you want to use. For those who are either a bit more experienced or like to experiment more, loose glitters are also fun to use, and both MAC and NYX have the best ranges of colours on the market, (well I think so anyway!). If glitter isn't your thing, why not try adding a colour into your smokey eye rather than your 'normal' greys/browns. For a really sophisticated look, MAC's shadow in Naval is a brilliant matte navy shade that works really well with champagne toned eyeshadows.

And there are just a few of my blue eye combinations!

Do you wear blue eyeshadow?

My Urban Decay Lip Collection

Hello all!

Today I am talking through my Urban Decay lip collection, as it is fairly small and justifiable (compared to my MAC lipstick collection- that is an addiction!)

In total I own 9 lip based products from Urban Decay, and if I am completely honest they aren't my favourite. There isn't anything wrong with the said products I have, I just prefer choosing different brands for lipsticks...

Starting with lip liners (as pictured above and swatches below) I own three, and I personally believe these are the best three shades to look at if you want a smaller make-up kit or are looking to start your collection. I own Peyote which is a nude/pink (we all know how much I love Peyote! read here), Mrs Mia Wallace which is a deep blue-red and Bang which is an orangey coral. Generally, these are the main colours I tend to wear on my lips asides from pink toned lipsticks, however I find that these lip liners match my other products from both Urban Decay and other brands wonderfully. I also love how creamy these lip liners are and the fact that the pigment really is as intense as the colour of the packaging surrounding the pencil.

Next up are two really old school Urban Decay products, so old school that they don't exist on the website anymore- which is really sad, as these two 'Super-Saturated Lip Pencils' were my first high end make-up purchases when I was 14/15 (yes, I should probably get rid of them but they really are s good as new...) Punch Drunk is the orange shade and was my first purchase of the two and it is a true warm orange colour that didn't make your teeth look yellow. My other purchase was Adrenaline, which is a fuchsia pink with flecks of matching glitter running throughout. I haven't worn this shade for a while as I'm not sure about the glitter, but nevertheless the colour is beautiful and perfect for summer. The thing that attracted me to these lip pencils when I was 15 was the high level of gloss and pigment. I wasn't a fan of matte lips back then due to having constantly chapped lips, and I found that these worked a treat, and generally were my go to products at the weekends! (Urban Decay if you are reading this bring them back I will buy them all!!!!)

Finally is lipsticks, four of which to be precise, and all of which I have gained/added to my collection since starting this blog nearly three years ago. Like I said, I don't hate these lipsticks, and if I am honest I don't have any bad words or things to say about them, I can't argue the longevity or comfortable Matte finish amongst the three mattes I own, nor can I say that the sheer lipstick is bad, because it isn't, it simply is down to preference.
Venom is probably my all time favourite Urban Decay shade due to it being so unique, long lasting and comfortable. I often describe Venom as the autumnal grape that you can wear all year round. The purple shade has a subtle hint of pink running through it which works perfectly on my skin tone. (Especially as purples don't tend to suit me as a rule), and this lipstick if often my 'berry' of choice in September & October.  (read more about Venom here).  Mrs Mia Wallace is a staple dark red in my collection, and I find myself having to be very 'made up' when I wear it in order to not look ill. It is the perfect deep blue toned red and really is Mia Wallace captured in lipstick form.
Stark Naked was a colour I purchased during the Kylie Jenner Velvet Teddy trend. I didn't think Velvet Teddy would suit me (how wrong I was), so wondered down to the Urban Decay counter with a swatch on my hand asking the sales assistant to match me as best as she could. If I am completely honest this isn't my favourite shade and I do find it does wash me out a fair bit, however I have teamed this lipstick with darker lip liners in the past, (notably Staunchly Stylish from MAC) and it tends to do the 90's brown lip trend perfectly. And finally, we all know about how much I love Peyote, so there is no need for me to say again...but it is the most perfect nude out there in case you didn't know ;)

And that is my collection! Have you got any of these? Or are there any others I should be adding to my collection...

P.S. sorry the swatches are blurry- my camera isn't very accommodating at the moment!

Only 19 // #blankthoughts

In Wednesday's blogpost (you can read here) I wrote about slowly working through my everlasting to do lists. However I didn't complete much of my 2016 ones, and towards the end of the year I was starting to feel useless about this.

At the start of 2016 I told myself I would know what I was doing by the end of the year, and that I would simply have my shit together and being one step closer to the 'career bitch' persona I see myself having.

But one thing I came to realise is that things take time, and lots of it, and the majority of time I have it and I'm not using it correctly, or it is simply not on my side.

As 2017 has gone on (all of 20 days so far), I have thought of all the 'issues' I had with the incomplete tasks of 2016 and have told myself one thing in an attempt to make myself feel better/slightly less pressured, and that is I am only 19.

Minus my brief obsession with My Little Pony, many people have said for a good proportion of my life that I am mature for my age, and to an extent I can agree with this.

From a young age having a good career was drummed into me, and whilst my specific career isn't the easiest to get into, for some reason I've always felt like I've needed to be successful or all but there by the age of 20.

I put this down to being obsessed with the TV talent shows and younger professionals growing up, you'd always see the younger contestants doing there best and constantly being one step closer to their dream, and thats all I wanted. I don't want to wish my life away, but at the same time I do, as if the day happens where I get to say that my hobbies, loves and 'passions' are what earns me a living, I will be the happiest girl alive.

But right now, I can continue to attempt the little(ish) 'secret' (as I don't want to tell everyone at the moment!) projects and constantly imagine what life could be like when I am at my happiest.

But for now, I am only 19, and that'll have to do instead...

Life As A Workaholic // #blankthoughts

My life is a constant to do list, and I'm not even joking. As a self-confessed workaholic with little-none motivation after a busy(ish) day all I want to do is sit on the sofa and debate my life, or what I like to call my quarter life crisis.

At the moment I'm in a bit of a rut, I don't really know what I'm doing and all I do know is I need to be doing everything on my list, and I have no clue where to start.

I didn't/don't want this academic year to solely be me coming home from college and doing little, I'm older now and in a position where I want to do more creatively just to prove to myself that I am able, and take the little steps towards bigger things in the very distant future.

And this predicament I've written above is even more of a predicament when you are a workaholic. Yes, I enjoy a lazy evening or day (or weekend), but I equally feel so accomplished when I have finished something and can sign it off of my list.

Currently, I'm finding making longer lists to accomplish throughout a month works best for me, I list everything I want/need to do by the end of the month and slowly but surely I'm getting through it, and I hope to meet my end of the month target.

But where do you start when you're still unsure of everything and everyone surrounding you?

'You Can Seek Inspiration From Others, But You Must Always Be Yourself'

'you can seek inspiration from others, but you must always be yourself'

This hands down is one of my favourite 'quotes' I have ever come across, because I couldn't agree with it more.

Individuality is what makes us us, we choose to dress the way we dress and act the way we act so we can represent ourselves the way we want to be represented.

In the creative world, its very easy to accuse someone of copying an idea or trying to be like someone else, when in reality we are simply being ourselves.

There are several billion people on this planet, there is no way that anything or anyone is original anymore- there will always be a similarity, even if it is minute.

What I am trying to say is, it is okay to be original, create new ideas and try something new. But it is equally okay to try something someone else has done, just don't be identical.

'You can seek inspiration from others, but you must always be yourself.'

Book Writing 101

The notebook pictured above was a present I received for my 18th birthday, and I haven't stopped using it since. It's filled with blogpost ideas, other project ideas and primarily, book ideas.

I've mentioned a few times that I trying to write this book, the first of many book ideas I've had in my brain since I was 13.

I'm going to say the obvious now, writing a book is hard! It's not a five minute task that you can leave to an evening and hope for the best, no no, it takes planning and time- and time is something I don't have lots of and desperately wish I did!

I'd love for time to stop for a week so I could solely dedicate my time towards my laptop, whether it be for this blog, the book, editing or just simply getting my thoughts out, I wish I could just be creative for a little bit and have no other worries.

One thing that I am thankful for is that I am the kind of person who needs to write an idea down when I have one, and keep thinking of that idea until it is documented somewhere and I can forget about it knowing it is written down somewhere safe, therefore I have notes on each chapter idea etc. written down, and now I just need to write the content within the chapters.

The book I am writing (really really wanted to write the name then, however I'll save it for the day that I get to announce it! (if that ever happens!) is a very honest non-fiction book. It takes a little bit longer to be 'perfect' due to being sure that everything is actually correct and non-offensive. One blogpost I have written that has a similar writing style to the said book is 'Anxiety or Confidence?', so if you want to have a read of something similar to 'the book that is currently 5% on paper/laptop and 95% in my head', then go ahead!

That's all for now, I'm off to go and do some more writing, and singing, and monologue learning, and dancing, and 'trying-to-adult' thing- I'm still learning the art of that.

4 New Additions To My MAC Palettes...

L-R Expensive Pink, Atlantic Blue, Gorgeous Gold and Sushi Flower

Last weekend I made two cheeky trips to MAC and on both occasions picked up two new shadows to add to my palettes.

On my first trip, I went with the intention of finding two shades that I wanted to fit my palette, this was a corally pink and a matte blue. Initially I was torn between Paradisco and Expensive Pink, both of which are very similar, with Expensive Pink being slightly more pink than Paradisco, and in the end I went for Expensive Pink as the swatch came up better on my hand. Expensive Pink is the perfect rose gold eyeshadow shad and I think it will compliment my blue eyes nicely. I also went for Atlantic Blue, which is a matte cobalt blue, and exactly what I wanted! Lots of people often comment on the chalkiness of MACs matte eyeshadows, however I never have an issue with this and find layering the shadow and priming the lids makes them work fine.

The next day I visited MAC again and I was desperate to get more shadows for my palettes, I had almost finished my warm palette and visually looking at a palette with two empty slots just wasn't doing it for me, so low and behold me and my friend visited MAC where she desperately tried to restrain me, and didn't work! I firstly knew I wanted to get Gorgeous Gold, as this colour was the closest match to a pigment that had now been discontinued. Its a cool toned yellow gold and has a slight hint of green in it, and I love it. Finally I got my hands on Sushi Flower, which is a matte(r) pink/coral that I think will compliment Expensive Pink well!

I have planned a post talking through my warm palette soon, and theres only a few spaces left on my cool palette which is exciting! (And lets be honest I'll probably end up starting a third one...)

Are there any MAC shadows you think I need?

AAAAAAAAH // The Peppermint Diaries #2

I feel like all I want to do is scream at the moment. As I usually say my to do list is still as long as ever and I have no idea where to start. Its gradually dying down but there is simply no way of prioritising it and if I'm honest its stressing me out a bit!

I am creative. I have lots of ideas. I have very little time. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

The two main thoughts currently going crazy through my brain are to do with plans/'projects' I want to achieve for the future, and singing. Damn my voice is no where near where it should be/used to be. All my dancing means I come home and literally shrivel up and sleep. I try and train my voice as often as I can and it simply breaks my heart a little knowing I haven't properly sung to my 'potential' since my Grade 8 exam in July. (Must do more this year- I will do more this year.)

Run To You by Whitney Houston (my queen) has literally been stuck in my head for three weeks, I can't stop singing it and literally want my voice to be at a point where I would be near enough happy to perform it. (note, I'm not a belter, so its a different version anyway...)

Here's to doing more and stressing less!

A Dream Handbag...

One of my most prominent/poignant Christmas presents I received this year was the beautiful bag photographed above. My Lulu Guinness Small Lyra bag in Red is possibly one of my new favourite things, yes, I am aware that this sounds materialistic, but I also think its okay to enjoy things in life.

Today (the day I publish this) I am taking her (she is a her okay!) out for her first outing, and I can't wait. Over the past year my love for handbags has dramatically grown, and with red being one of my most worn colours, I knew one day I would love a 'true red' in my collection.

On first impressions there isn't much I don't love about this bag, I love the size, it's big enough for all of my essentials as well as the fact it can easily be a day-to-day bag or something special for going out at night. My only floor is the length of the supporting strap, I like bags to sit on my hip if I'm wearing them on my shoulder, and on the shortest setting it sits just below. (I'm 5ft6 with a long torso and longer legs for reference!), but this is something I can live with!

Will report back when tried and tested more...

My Favourite Posts of 2016

I fell back in love with blogging from September and now I can't imagine myself taking long periods of time of, it just means too much to me.Today I thought I would round up my five favourite blogposts I wrote during 2016, and I hope you love them just as much as I do...

My most recent post out of these five, and it was simply everything (well almost everything!) I needed to say on 2016!

Just a few life lessons that may help you all...

The oldest post of this bunch and the one that made me realise I wanted this blog to be a little more lifestyle and a little less lipstick (not much though!) and possibly my most honest post to date.

This is probably my favourite post I have written this year, as it had been an idea of mine for many months, but I never could get the words out on paper (or laptop, so to speak). The response was really amazing to this post and I just hope one day mental health can be something we all talk freely about.

Charlotte Tilbury was 100% the brand I fell in love with the most this year. At the start of the year I owned nothing from the brand and now I own so much more, I just love it!

What were your favourite posts of 2016?

Dear January // #blankthoughts

Dear January,

It's the start of a new year, and I felt as if I needed to write to you and tell you how I am. January is a funny month for me as I never feel as if I am starting anew when a new year rolls around, instead I am continuing as I was hoping for the best.

I hope you are a kind month to me January, as in my past many a negative 'event' has happened and frankly it often fills me with dread. But surely there has to be a good January?

This month I hope to continue my productivity. Blue Monday is approaching and I don't want that day to influence my month- I'm far too busy to do so.

Over the past few days my creative brain has exploded and I am constantly making notes of content ideas or remembering things I once said I would do, and I am determined to make them happen this month.

Too Late for YouTube?

A few people have asked me if I have ever considered creating a YouTube channel to coincide with my blog, and truth be known I have, and technically have, if you include my channel which has the few singing covers on it.

Every week or two I consider creating content that isn't singing and giving the whole world of YouTube a go. I have thoughts, ideas and things I want to say, but truth be told I keep wondering am I in fact too late for YouTube?

The average person wold say no, of course not, its never too late, and to an extent I agree. But is it too late for me to be seen as 'original' on YouTube? Will every piece of content I wish to create be seen as copying 'X', 'Y' or 'Z'? Will it be seen as the easy way in or out, especially in a generation reliant on a fair percentage of the internet?

I am really happy with my blog at the moment, one of my little resolutions plans for 2017 was to create more on my singing channel and not be so scared of it. Now with the creating content comes ideas that I are possible to create, but what if I become obsessed with film and lose my love for writing?

Right now I am content with the content I am creating, and I think it will stay this way, but who knows, one day I'll be ready for YouTube...

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine // Boy

I mentioned in my 'Beauty Bits I Got For Christmas' post that I received the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in Boy, and I am in love.

In a weird lipstick obsessed world 2016 was the year I became obsessed with nude tone lip products. I owned a couple colours prior, but the part of me that was never interested was the part that found having a couple browns and a couple pinks fine.

I was wrong. I first swatched Boy at the beginning of the year, and it was a lipstick that ended up on my 'list', in other words, would like in my collection one day but I don't mind when.

You may recall me talking about how Urban Decay's Peyote (especially the lipliner) is a colour almost identical to my natural lip colour. Boy is also high up on that list for being a near-perfect-nude.

Compared to every other nude in my collection, its a hybrid on MAC Patisserie and MAC Driftwood. Whilst its slightly more on the brown side rather than pink, its pretty cool/neutral tone makes the perfect cool/neutral toned nude for all year round, and I can't wait to wear it more this year! (Sad I know...)

The 2017 Post // Auto Focus

Part 1, its the start of the year. None of this 'New Year New Me' rubbish. Its another day of the week and now I want to tell you all my plans.

Yes, I have plans.

I strongly believe in no time like the present, and in many previous blogposts I have spoken about numerous things I want to achieve in my lifetime, and I'm not stopping now.

The one thing I want to do in 2017 is keep busy. The more pro-active I am the more I will get done- sounds obvious really doesn't it? I want to continue working, and what I mean by that is put the thoughts inside my brain on paper, film or laptop.

Rather than a list or informative post, here's to 2017, the year I write and sing to my hearts content with no worries, and who knows, maybe I'll even get to say it's for my career!

Even though I don't know what the year holds, all I do know is I want to cherish every moment (hence the 365 diary- read here), rather than the year go by in a blur.

Here's to 2017...its only the beginning...(and another Sunday...)
