TOMMY X GIGI

Over the course of this year Tommy Hilfiger announced its collaboration with Gigi Hadid, and on September the 1st the Tommy Hilfiger X Gigi Hadid launched on Zalando.

I’ve had a little look through the collection and picked a few pieces I love and that I would add to my wardrobe (if I could afford it!!).

Like 90% of the population you can never have enough sweatshirts, and I really love these designs in the collection, and I think both can be worn either as ‘comfy’ clothing or with jeans for a daytime look.

I’ve always loved nautical influenced pieces and I think that the rucksack this is a fun item in the collection that can be used to break up an outfit.

The knit jumper dress is the piece within the collection that has got me the most excited, the combination of the cream base with navy details along the sleeves give enough of the nautical vibe without being too in your face. Whilst its probably not practical for winter in the UK, its still a lovely timeless piece.
If you saw my Denim Jacket post, you’ll know that I am loving statement jackets at the moment, whilst I wouldn’t necessarily wear the jacket with Gigi’s initials on it, I love the idea of it.

The blouse is the item that has struck with me with most versatility, as not only is the specific print available in the blouse pictured, but its also available in a mini and maxi dress. I adore the print. I love how its been paired with high-waisted jeans in the image shots, but this would also look lovely with a skirt, and if I owned this item I would see myself pairing it with a block colour such as red, to really have the nautical look.

Of course the collection is made up of so many more incredible pieces, and I really hope the collaboration continues for more collections in the future.

Have you got your hands on anything from the collection?

Beki x

(P.S. I am aware that three posts in the past week mention Gigi, I’m just a bit obsessed okay…)
