Dear Diary 7: When is time too much to handle?

Dear Diary,

Recently I have found myself so busy that I don't know when time is going to pause, to the point where procrastinating and worrying about the work I haven't done seems far more enjoyable than doing the work itself.

When is time too much?

I have found that I am my most happiest when I am busy with the occasional day off, but the constant thought of knowing I have too much going on is sometimes a little too much to bare.

Don't get me wrong, I am constantly busy, seven hours sleep barely feels like two, and I always feel guilty for stopping myself and taking a break.

Ultimately I know that all the work I do now is going to mean everything to me in the future, especially as lots of the things I make myself do aren't crucial right now- I just like working hard!

On that note, back to A Levels!

November Favourites!

November Favourites!!

I don't have many favourites this month, purely because I haven't had much time to think of things I have been excessively using!!

(quick apology for no photos- camera isn't working and phone is useless  )
Red Lips!

The other week I wrote the 'Red Lip Tag', and since then, I have worn a red lip more often than not! I think it's starting to be a 'thing' for me, I really do love it!

Pro-Longwear Concealer

I have a feeling this product will always be in my favourites, but this MAC concealer is literally heaven in a pot for me. My skin has been a little unpredictable this month and this concealer hasn't failed to disappoint me, keeping me covered up for the majority of the day!

Painterly Paint Pot

I think when I did my Disney inspired posts back in July I mentioned that I used the Paint Pot from MAC in some of the looks to prime my eyes. I have been liking a more natural eye this month and this has been more than enough paired with some eyeliner.

I am a bit of a self-confessed chocoholic, and whilst as a child chocolate wasn't my thing, if I have fancied chocolate this month I have had to eat it! *grabs bar of galaxy*

Bit of an odd favourite, but I usually have to be in the mood to eat breakfast-y foods, and I have eaten more toast this month than I have this year!

Sorry it's short,

Happy December!

I originally planned to have a blogpost up everyday in December, but that failed when I never got around to writing the posts- however there will still be plenty this year!

December is my favourite month on the year, and I really adore Xmas, there's no real reason as to why- I just do!

I wanted to touch upon what I will be writing about this month, you can expect some 'xmassy' themed posts over the next couple of weeks- including (hopefully) a couple of make-up looks and maybe even some new singing covers on my YouTube channel!

I am really busy at the moment- I know I always say this, but if you are an avid reader of this blog you may remember reading something back in October about something not going to plan, well fingers crossed its happening end of January/early February!

If you also read this blog thoroughly, you may know I have been a little ill this year- which really isn't me at all! I'm currently writing this post back to normal having had the worst migraine I have ever had- 2014 really hasn't been my year :')

Anyway- providing all goes to plan (which possibly couldn't, so don't get too excited) November Favourites, a singing cover and perhaps a make-up look should be published!

Little ways to relax life!

Over the past few weeks I have been eagerly trying to make my attitude on life a little easier, including trying to be a little healthier, organised and generally happy, it’s only a few things, but I think it is working!

1)      Drinking water

Little obvious and often said on videos or blog, whilst I haven’t noticed any major effects on my skin in reduced spots (cries), I feel a lot better day to day!

2)      Sleeping

I have had a really busy few days, and the next few weeks are going to be even busier! I downloaded an app from the app store the other day called ‘Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock’. It monitors what different types of sleep you are in, the length of time and additional factors such as eating late or a stressful day. My favourite feature of the app is the alarm, you set it for the time you want to wake up, and it gradually wakes you from 30 minutes before depending on the amount of sleep you had! Writing this I am on night four- so I can’t wait to review again!

3)      Lists!!

I think I have mentioned before I am a fan of a good to do list, and I am trying to keep to plan with what I want to do daily by trying to complete everything on the list before going bed! (Occasionally missing the odd thing and catching up the next day!)

4)      Happiness

An odd thing to try to change, but equally I am trying to not have bad thoughts or opinions affect me, regardless of the issue. I get stressed and worked up very easily, and I just don’t want to be like that anymore- it’s partially to do with my anxiety, which I briefly mentioned here, but I know I have control as well.

And that’s it for now! There are lots of other little things I am doing as well, but they aren’t causing an obvious change as much the ones above^

Dear Diary 6: Winter Wonderings

Dear Diary,

It's currently at that tricky time of the year where it's in-between Autumn and Winter, I like to class winter starting by the fancy cups being revealed at Costa/Starbucks. However with the incredibly warm September we had, I can't quite get to grips that it's nearly Christmas again.

This time last year, I properly became engrossed with the Youtube and blogging world, and decided at some stage in 2014 I would start a Youtube channel and blog. It's safe to say I think I prefer blogging more, as I originally wanted to make beauty videos on Youtube, but would quickly stop uploading the video just before it was completed.

My love of singing has also wondered over the past year. I have started to try and tell myself to stop trying to be like the others, and start being myself, because when I am, I am at my happiest.

My voice has changed a lot this year as well, and whilst I am not 100% sure if it's exactly right or not at the moment, hopefully I am doing all I should be doing to help it be what it should be. I'm finding myself becoming annoyed because I am not able to do the things I want to do, where as before

I can't wait to see what December and January brings, and with hard work, I am hoping it's the best yet.

So now, as I finish another bus journey and head home, its time to think,

The Red Lip Lover Tag

The Red Lip Lover Tag

Okay so after attempting to do a little bit of research on the YouTube, I came to discover that most beauty gurus love lip products (hence the lip product tag from a while back..) and I thought, why don't I make my own?

My favourite lip to wear is a red lip, and as I own far too many red lips already (and still want to own many more) I felt this would be the best tag for me to create!

Rules: this tag can be done on a blog/YouTube (or any other platform of choice!), I don't use YouTube for beauty videos hence the blogpost!

What was the first red lip product you remember buying?

The first red lip product I ever purchased was Barry M Pillar Box Red. Still a favourite now!

What is your favourite red for the current season?
We are currently fading out Autumn and welcoming winter, and whilst I'm not completely ready to say goodbye to berry shades yet I thought I would treat my self a little. I recently purchased MAC Diva, the shade is perfect for the weather right now, it's not a shocking red, nor is it too berry for my liking, there are so many MAC Reds that I want I am gradually ticking them off of my list!

Most disappointing red you own?

Would have to be Max Factor Ruby Tuesday lipstick. I use it for fun more than anything, bit doesn't last in my lips even with liner and is constantly smudging and causing many issues.

All time favourite red?

This would have to be Lady Danger from MAC, I absolutely love it! Sometimes having incredibly pale skin means that certain lip colours don't look too good (candy pinks are sadly a no go...) however this bright red compliments my skin tone lovely! It's subtle orange tone doesn't leave your teeth looking to yellow either- which is always a bonus!

How many red lip products do you own?

Far too many for a 17 year old...And counting...

Favourite MAC red?

At the moment, as well as lady danger of course, it would have to be the Rihanna Viva Glam Red, I wrote a blog post on it ages ago and I love it, the colour is very long lasting, and the profits go to a good cause- it's a win win situation!

Have you found the perfect Red Gloss?

Nope! I thought I did when I purchased the MAC Maleficent gloss, but it doesn't last well at all :(

You have the opportunity to make your own red lipstick, what would its shade/tone be? Finish? Texture? Packaging? Name?

I would make a Matte in-between true red and berry shade, with subtle blue tones and hints of glitter. Similar packaging to a MAC lipstick, but a little bit more exciting, perhaps some diamonds! And I would name my lipstick Berry Beau.

That's it! I hope you enjoy the tag- let me know if you do it!
I am tagging (fingers crossed!) ViviannaDoesMakeup and Lily Pebbles to do this, as I know the pair love a good strong lip!

Quick skin update!

Quick skin update!

So I was going to do an updated skincare routine today but my routine isn't so different to what it was in this blog post here, apart from the fact I have changed my scrub back to one I used about six months ago, and it's better for my skin.

The scrub I am using is the Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active Intensive anti-spot exfoliating scrub...but of a mouthful! Overall this scrub is fantastic, and it's really clearing up by odd breakouts and blackheads really well. Whilst my old scrub said it was for daily use, I personally didn't like it and felt it only made my skin worse, I use this every other day and I can see the difference already.

My skin is also starting clear up better, sure I still get the odd hormonal spot, or a breakout when I am a little stressed, but doesn't everyone?!

I'm trying to eat a little healthier as well, but as mentioned before, I'm not stoping myself if I want something.

All in all I wanted to do a little post today just to fill about my skin, a more in depth review will be up near christmas!

Dear Diary #5: Inner Confidence

Dear diary,
Inner confidence affects us all in many different ways. Some people don’t like the way they look, the way they act or how someone may see them.

For me, as much as I may hate my skin at times, and my teeth have always been a bit of pain, my main problem is having my photograph taken- I absolutely hate it.

Last week I needed to get my headshots for university and drama school done, and I felt so uncomfortable. Towards the end everything went in my favour, and out of the several hundred photos we took there were 6/7 I liked. However I still went away knowing that when I need my headshots doing again in the future, I will still hate it.

Getting the headshots done probably helped my inner confidence in the sense that I am kind of wanting to do another shoot- yet if someone came up to me with a camera and said smile, I would still cringe.

The point I am trying to say is, do one thing a day to scare you or challenge something, who knows, one day the fear may disappear…

The Me-Time Tag

writing- see? I know...lame picture.
Essiebutton and Amelia Liana created the tag- so I thought I would blog it!
What do you watch or read during me-time?
I read whatever is currently on the go on my kindle, I purchased lots of books for my kindle the other day, and at the moment that is ‘How to be a Woman’ by Caitlyn Moran.
I like to watch TV that make me giggle or relax, so usually that is 8 out 10 cats or typical trash TV like the Kardashians, Teen Mom…

What do you wear during me-time?
Clean PJs or an onesie!
 #nobra ;)

What are your me-time beauty products?
I love a good bubble bath, so whatever bath product from Lush is lurking on my bathroom shelf often goes in. I am also loving Boots’ Teatree and Witch Hazel Charcoal mask, it works wonders on my skin!

Current favourite nail polish?
I am really lazy with nail polish, and rarely remember to paint my nails, however when I do paint my nails, whichever Barry M Gelly nail polish I grab is the one I wear!

What do you eat/drink during me-time?
Anything and everything. Literally.

Current favourite candle?
Either Zoella Beauty candle or Yankee Candle Clean Cotton!

Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
In the summer, I may sit outside and read, but Ii don’t like British sun and would rather be indoors!

Would you ever go see a movie alone?
Its tempting, but I haven’t yet!

Favourite online shop?
MAC or Asos.

Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?
I like to plan what I should probably be doing during me-time, for example, I may have meant to be doing an essay, but that essay may need to be done at 4am the following morning…

Wearable Blue Eye Look

I know what you may be thinking, blue eye shadow with blue eyes is a big no no, and until recently I would agree, however I have found a perfect combination blue smokey eye that will look great on a cold winter’s day(and on any eye colour!)

You will need:

·         Two lighter blue shades (I used MAC Aquadisiac and Topshop Molten Eyes in Blue Lagoon)

·         Darker Blue (MAC Naval)

·         Black liquid &/ pencil liner

·         Mascara

I also recommend using a brow product and possibly something to contour with, personally I am not a huge fan of colour on the cheeks, however I think this eye look can make you look washed out, hence why I use it.

So the first step is to do your all your make-up and leave your eyes until the end. I first of all filled my brows in, using two Soap and Glory products, but like I said if you don’t usually fill your brows you can skip this bit.

After priming my eyes, I took Aquadisiac (Picture 1) and lightly used it as a base over the whole eye. I then took Blue Lagoon (Picture 2) and placed it in the middle of the eye. As it was a crayon, I then lightly blended it out towards the outer edge of the eye. The second colour should be the brighter of the two colours, as this will make your eyes pop. Finally I took Naval (Picture 3) on the same brush and blended it from the outer inwards.

I then added some winged black liner to break it up a little bit, especially so when you add your mascara, it isn’t lost in the brightness of the blue. Once your mascara is then added, voila you are done!

I hope you liked this tutorial and kind of understood what I was saying! Let me know if you like this look and would wear it!

October Favourites

It’s that time of the month again- wait not that, Favourites time!
Vice Palette
You may or may not have seen my post a couple of days ago talking about my love for this palette, and it really is amazing! For a more in depth review click here!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
When I initially purchased this foundation, it matched my skin, then it was too dark for me. I wear the palest shade that Rimmel does, Light Porcelain. But for some reason this month I have been able to wear this absolutely fine, but only if I am having a particularly good skin day.
Soap and Glory Brow Archery in Hot Chocolate
My last monthly favourites post showed I liked one of the two brow products Soap and Glory offers, well I finally managed to get the other brow pencil. Its double sided and comes with a spooly and pencil, and the colour is perfect for my odd colour brows!
MAC Lady Danger
This red is my all-time favourite red lipstick. I can’t quite explain how much I love this product, to the point I almost started crying when I thought I lost it in London. It compliments my pale skin very well, and combined with Cherry Lip Liner and occasionally a gloss, it lasts me all day.
Barry M toffee lipgloss
I think I have mentioned before that if I want a nude lip I tend to just go for a gloss, as I have never found a nude lip colour I like. This month my beloved toffee lipgloss has been my go to product most mornings for school, especially as my natural lip colour is fairly salmon-esque and can make me look like I still have yesterdays (non-existent) lipstick on.
Zoella Beauty
I wrote a post a couple of days ago about my love for these products, I cannot sing their praises enough, and if you want an in depth review, read this!
I am a bit of a fizzy drink obsessive, and usually in every favourites I mention a drink I enjoy, and it happens to be that this month I have been drinking coke and diet coke lots!
I am really happy that my life has slowed down a little at the moment, to give me time to read. Reading used to calm my anxiety when I was little, however when I wasn’t so well five years ago every book I read twisted my brain and turned everything into a nightmare or panic so I couldn’t sleep. Whilst I haven’t been that bad for years, I am hoping if I start reading and writing again, my body might calm down a bit and not make me so ill!
As I said a couple of days ago, I have had time to write more recently, and I am loving it. As a child singing, charities and writing were my things, and they still are today. I wrote hundreds of stories under my nans kitchen table, and was always singing little songs in my head. I have set myself a target that any days I tell myself to write and I have nothing else on, I need to write 1500 words a day, I find it that relaxing that whilst 1500 does seem to scare me, an example is 1500 words on my blog is 4/5 posts which could fill a week.
Hope you liked my monthly favourites, what are yours?

Quick/Easy Doll Halloween Make-Up

Before and after!

Quick Doll Halloween look!

Okay so here is the drill, if you are anything like me chances are you don’t tend to celebrate Halloween and then often get invited to something last minute and think, poop what do I do? Whilst I am not going anywhere this year, the rule in our household is you aren’t allowed to get excited for Christmas until after Bonfire night, therefore in my little brain I decided by doing this tutorial I am one step closer to celebrating Christmas!

This make-up look took me approximately 10-15 minutes, which may not seem very quick, but I would like to add I was improvising all throughout the making of this look, and I hope my 4 fairly easy steps and instructions help you!

 You need:

·         white face paint or talc!

·         Black Liquid and Pencil eyeliner

·         Mascara

·         Pink Blush

·         Red Lippy

·         False eyelashes (optional)

·         Any eye shadow you wish your doll too wear (I recommend blue)

Step 1

Apply your whitening device all over the face, making it as even as possible…and then apply blush on the apples of the cheeks, don’t go sparingly, but remember, dolls were meant to look pretty and dainty, not ott like you’re an extra in TOWIE.

Step 2

Do your eye shadow over exaggerated, think Barbie/pageant queen esque. Using either your liquid or pencil eyeliner, draw on how you want your eyeliner above your eyelashes to be, I opted for a flick. I also added pencil in my waterline. Apply mascara and lashes if you wish.

Step 3

Put on your red lipstick, avoiding your cupids bow (don’t worry if you do hit it though…) Outline your lips with your black pencil liner, accentuating any points you wish.

Step 4

You can then take your liquid liner and draw on any cracks, stiches etc you want to add, if you have time you can even try to draw a line at the top to make it look as if you’re wearing a mask.

That’s it! I hope you found this simple, like I said, I managed this improvising in around 15 minutes, however don’t stress if you go wrong or it takes you a little longer!

Have a fabulous Halloween!

Anxiety Chat & Zoella Beauty

Any girl (or boy) who watches beauty videos most probably would have heard of Zoella. I came across Zoe in 2012 but didn’t become an avid watcher until 2013. Like many girls I felt I could relate to Zoe in more ways than the obvious, for a start I am also from the South West as well- I’m just a little bit more southern! I am also very pale, I would say Zoe is a little darker than me, but nevertheless I can watch her and think, that should look good on me.
However the most obvious comparison is probably similarity in mental health issues, whilst I have never been formally diagnosed with depression or anxiety, the symptoms are there and have been for many years. Fortunately, I can handle it fairly well, however I tend to feel my most anxious before something happens, and that’s when I start to panic, if I am in the situation with people I am comfortable with, I am fine.
Anyway, enough on me and on to the beauty. When Zoella announced she was going to be releasing a beauty line, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Initially, I could see a Plymouth store on the list of stores for the products being sold in, which meant waiting for all the products I wanted to be in stock at the same time – aka one month later! The day the delivery arrives I pop into Superdrug to try and pick up some of Tanya’s new lashes, and low and behold, Zoella products in Superdrug! I literally didn’t know whether to laugh and cry.
I ordered the fizz bar, soak opera and candle, all of which I can give reviews about. She describes her scents as gentle vanilla and sweet flowers, and the combination of the two work brilliantly together. (Is it weird I imagine her to smell of this all the time now?) I first of all started using my candle, and I haven’t stopped lighting it, there is just something very relaxing about watching a candle burn.
The next bath I took (that sounds like I haven’t washed for a while- I have!) I chose to use the fizz bar and soak opera, and honestly, it’s up there with my love of lush products. Usually, bath bars that aren’t lush disappoint me because they aren’t as good in my opinion, but this was! Mixed with the soak opera to make a bubble bath it was the perfect bath after a morning of running and exercise (yuck), but all three products are on my too buy again list!

The Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette...

nice finger prints...

with and without flash!
I was super excited when a lady on the Urban Decay counter told me a few weeks ago that the new Vice 3 Palette was making an appearance in featuring weeks. And on Saturday, I was able to get my hands on it, and OH MY GOSH *insert heart eyes emoji*
The colours are incredible, literally. The back of the packaging explains that the colours are all velvety, and with any combination, the perfect smokey eye is easy.
Containing 20 colours, this palette is definitely going to be my go to travel palette over the coming months, there is literally a colour for every occasion.
The first row is made up of neutrals with a hint of shimmer, placing Truth all over the eye, blend any of Undone, Downfall or DTF on the outer of the eye to make the perfect for a day natural/smokey brown eye.
The second row is made up of an emerald green named Dragon, two shades of blue, Freeze (light ice blue) and Heroine (deep navy blue) and a brown with gold tones called Brokedown. These colours instantly reminded me of water and the sea, and being an avid mermaid lover, this was perfect!
The middle row in my opinion is a step up from the first row, and if the palette fitted in your bag, these would be the colours you would add to your day look to make your night look. Vanity is a burgundy colour that will look AMAZING on anyone with hints of green in their eyes. Lucky and Reign are two shades of brown that contain red and gold tones beneath them.  Bobby Dazzle without a doubt is my favourite colour in this line, as it’s a white shimmer shadow that’s faultless wherever placed, and in my opinion, a better version of Forgery shadow or Vanilla Pigment from MAC.
Alien, Alchemy, Bondage and Sonic are all on the fourth row, and are all red toned colours, particular favourites of mine, especially in autumn. This row is probably my favourite in the palette, combined with Bobbly Dazzle and Revolver, makes a perfect autumn eye.
The final row could also be used to make a night look, but only if you want a strong, dark and sexy smokey eye. Last Sin very much reminds me of Midnight Cowboy from Urban Decay, and is very shimmery! Angel is a taupe-brown colour with a similar shimmer to Last Sin, whilst Defy is a cross between a taupe and chocolate brown. Revolver is a jet black colour that has hints of shimmer, and with any colours on the palette, makes a perfect smokey look.
All in all, it’s an A+++ for the Vice 3 Palette, my only little downfall being as they are shimmery and close together, I have a feeling some fall out may happen and spread over each colour!
Have you tried the Vice 3 Palette yet? Let me know your thoughts!

Dear Diary #4: When things don't go to plan

Dear Diary,

I have a confession, this month something spectacular, that I have spent lots of the year planning was meant to happen, and it hasn’t. Am I upset? Yes. Am I giving up? No.
I am more frustrated than I am upset, purely because it’s such a slow process that still fully isn’t happening yet, nevertheless, by it not happening, I am getting more time to think about how to make this blog, the project, and my life better.

This post is symbolising a new me, everybody at some stage says that they are turning over a new leaf to make things better- I have said this so many times, and now I need to stick to it.

To conclude, when things follow the right path, follow the new path instead....

Friday, 24 October 2014

So October Blogging hasn't exactly to plan,
but not to worry, as I have planned and started to write many a blogpost to post frequently in November, and possibly everyday in December!
This post is really again an apology one from me saying, 'whoops, I can't really call blogging a hobby...'

September Favourites!

Hello again!

Todays post is purely dedicated to my favourites of September with a few from August that I forgot to write about!

Starting with beauty, I have managed to find a high street foundation with good coverage and is long lasting, whilst still suitable for my porcelain skin tone- its the Revlon Colourstay foundation in the shade 110 Ivory. Usually with any other brand, Ivory would be way too dark for me. I stumbled across this foundation after having my make-up done at the No.7 counter in Boots, and being unable to find a foundation for my skin tone, the make-up artist suggested I try this foundation. All I can say is that I love it, its a little less coverage than my MAC Studio Fix Fluid, and whilst it doesn't last as long at the MAC one, its perfect for a no-makeup make-up look when you are having a good skin day.

If you read my post about my Chanel lipstick purchase, this next item may interest you. When I went to London I started using the Soap and Glory Brow Tint and Precision shaping in the colour Brownie Points. The reason I am redirecting you to the Chanel post is I used the product, and it made my eyebrows look so much more alive than what they do naturally. The colour is slightly too light for me, as my eyebrows naturally are similar to a taupe-y shade, however using more of the ink side as apposed to the pencil side gives me the colour I like.

So ages ago I mentioned I hated this product, and then I fell in love with it, its the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker gloss stick in Nudist. All through September this has been my go to  nude lip product, and I don't really have anything else to say on it!

Urban Decay released their Pulp Fiction collection late August/early September, and I absolutely love it, purchasing everything bar the nail polish (post coming soon!) and one thing I have particularly been loving is the eye shadow palette. As a fan of a smokey eye, this palette is great for creating a really easy smokey eye look. Tyranny is my favourite colour in the palette purely for its terracotta/red toned base. For people with blue eyes, red toned eye colours are good at making your eyes pop, and this is the colour that I have been using the most in the palette.

The other day I was walking through Next, when I was given  a sample of one of their perfumes Midnight, and oh my goodness, the smell is heaven. I am usually not a fan of really strong scented perfumes, and tend to go for more floral and fruity smells. However this perfume (as shown on the cardboard) has tones of orange/mandarin and sandalwood, two of my most favourite smells in the whole world. As mentioned, I only got the sample, however I will be purchasing a full size bottle soon.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I have been loving drinking hot drinks throughout September, these being either Hot Chocolate with Hazelnut syrup- tasting just like Kinder Bueno. The other being a fruit tea from Asda, which I have been drinking more to help my voice. The flavours of the tea are Lemon, Mango and Ginger, and is a good alternative to Lemon and Honey, which I cant drink due to a silly lavender allergy.

That's all for today- see you soon!

Dear Diary #3: Autumn Reflection

I've come to realise that as Autumn comes in to play, I haven't written anything this month, and I need to change.

Once again, life sometimes becomes hectic, and rather than constantly working, it's easier to switch off and avoid things, which I have definitely done this month.

But that's it, in my head I know I need to change and work harder in order to become as successful as I want to in the future. Whilst I don't always feel so motivated, planning everything out means I am able almost stay focused and get my life on track, ready for everything I want and more in the future.

Autumn is my favourite season, I say this because I can't relate anything too traumatic to my life in the season, plus I love autumn colours.

As mentioned, I am ready for a little bit of a change to get my life on track again, on the blog and at school.

So expect more from me as Autumn blossoms and slowly heads for Winter.

Channelling Chanel

lets just ignore the pictures and hideous seflies, okay? okay.

'Once upon a time their was a little girl named Beki, who dreamt of owning a Chanel lipstick and Handbag when she grew up'

And last week, that dream came true- kinda...

So as I walked out of the Covent Garden MAC store and turned to the right, I saw the Chanel store in the corner of my eye and headed there to swatch lipstick colours, and that's when I decided to buy my first ever Chanel Lipstick.

Selecting a sheer coral toned pink (known as Bohème) I didn't even think about the price, so I asked at the till and cringed, but when the cashier told me it was £25, my heart didn't completely freeze, as ultimately, yes it's pricey, but I pay £15 for a MAC lipstick and this is a colour I will save for nicer occasions, especially as I don't wear sheer lipsticks very often, but ultimately I know I will get my money's worth.
I don't have a bad word to say about this lipstick, its the perfect combination between sticky and dry,the formula and colour are fairly long lasting, but I don't mind topping up lipstick so that doesn't bother me.

And as for the handbag? We shall probably have to wait a few years for that one...
